Externally Funded
For the development in the urban areas, the State of Gujarat has taken up projects from the external funding sources too. Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot have taken up projects in various sectors such as Water Supply, Sewerage and Strom Water Drainage, development of bridges and riverfront for the cost amounting to Rs. 6954 Cr. These projects are going to be funded by the external funding agency i.e. World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Further details are tabulated as below:
